Really Good News and Semi Bad News..

Really Good News>>> Tanner goes in for his colonascopy and endoscopy at 630 in the morning.. Yay.. It is happening a lot quicker than we expected.. We wont complain.. We will take what we can get..

Semi Bad News>>> He can't have anything but clear liquids all day today and absolutely nothing after midnight.. It wasn't so bad keeping him from food earlier today but now it's 6pm and he is HUNGRY.. It's getting more and more difficult as the night goes on. We are trying everything to keep him as busy as possible so he will keep his mind off everything.. Oh he also had to take 3oz of milk magnesia. So not only is he starving he has a sore bum from the watery poo...(I know ugh) I feel so bad for him.. Hopefully things will be a lil better when he goes to sleep.. Anyway I'll let you know how things go tomorrow. But for now I need to go play cars with Tanner...

-Tanner's Doctor Appointment-

Tanner's doctors appointment was yesterday.. It was pretty much a counseling session on what they were going to do from here and how it will all affect him. Anyway they are going to do a colonoscopy and a upper endoscopy next month and they are going to take biopsies in both areas then we will have to wait another week for the results. So it looks like we will have to hang in there for another month to officially get a lead on Tanners lil tummy! Until then I will keep you all posted on our boring lil lives!

Happy 2nd Birthday Tanner!

Yesturday was Tanner's 2nd birthday! I can't believe how time flies! And the poor thing has been through so much and hes only 2.. We have been having a huge struggle to find out what Tanners medical conditions are... We finally got him into an allergist 2 months ago and found out he is allergic to Soy and Milk.. They also put him on a formula that's made up of only amino acids so that he will be able to digest it smoothly.. O did i mention the formula is $139.00 a can! Apparently its the next best thing to GOLD! Anyway after the allergist we had to get another referral to go see a Gastro doctor to have his intestines looked at because he is in SO MUCH PAIN! The appointment for that is this coming Wednesday... YAY i have been counting down the days. (I might actually get some real sleep after all this!) He is going to be getting a colonascopy and this will determine whether or not he has LYMPHONODULARHYPERPLASIA.... Ya it's a big word and I hope to find out alot of information when we go to the doctor. I'll keep ya posted.. The best part of all this and all the pain Tanner is going through he still has a BIG smile on his face!! He is always smiling even when he's crying! He is so fun to be around and he keeps me on my toes! He is a very busy boy and we are constantly telling him NO but that's ok WE LOVE HIM VERY MUCH AND WOULDN'T CHANGE HIM FOR ANYTHING!

Fathers Day At The Zoo!!

We celebrated Fathers Day at the Zoo. We went with my sister Jackie and my brother Steven and there kids, it was so much fun! MaKenzie was so excited about it and had a really good time! Her favorite animals were the penguins, giraffes, and the monkeys! Tanner on the other hand was way excited to go until we got there and he saw the elephants... he was so affraid of them. Daniel had him on his shoulders and he was shaking so bad it looked like he was choking Daniel cuz he legs were squeezing his neck.. It was actually kind of funny see the reaction of Tanner. After the elephants he walked arond the Zoo with his eyes WIDE open. He hardly blinked for the fear he was going to get eaten. lol! but he did have a couple of favorite animals and that was the monkeys and the penguins. All in all it was a super fun trip.

It's A Boy!!!

Yep... another boy! kinda crazy! all i can say is "I hope he is nothing like Tanner." I am going to be a very busy mommy! Or should i say a very busy "April" since neither of my kids are calling me mommy.. I am April! It's really starting to bother me. I am on my 3rd child and I have never once been called MOM! We are starting to bribe them with all sorts of stuff just so they will call me mom and nothing is working. So if anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them!
