Howdy Everyone!

WOW! I rarely have time to update this... Anyways, so far it's been a fun summer. My kids and I keep very very busy! We go to the gym often, swimming 3 times a week, my parents house almost every day, nightly walks to the park and on top of it all I watch Nina's kids 5 days a week. It gets a bit overwhelming at times but its the only way i can keep my kids mind off not seeing there dad! Daniel takes the kids every other weekend and he stops by a couple times a week to visit with them but it never seems to be enough for a 2 and 4 year old:(

We are all doing really good! We love our new place! We have KK all registered for Kindergarten in the fall and I am all registered for Dixie for the fall as well... It's going to be a huge adjustment for my kids to have not only a single mom but a single mom going to school full time. Its going to be tough at first but we will get through it just like everything else!

Tanner is doing much better with his milk and soy allergy. The specialist has given us the OK to slowly start introducing him to milk again. He still struggles a lil with cheese and chocolate but for the most part he is tolerating everything pretty well. Oh and did i mention he has night terrors..ugh.. its never ending with this child.

Kaidence is almost 8 months old and is getting so big. He is crawling and is pulling himself up on EVERYTHING! It seems like he learns something new everyday. He is so fun! He keeps us all entertained!

I had Kade's blessing this past weekend... I'm sorry if I offended anyone by not spreading the word... It was thrown together at the last minute... CONSTANT NAGGING FROM KK AND TJ........ can we go to Grandma Erickson's how many more days till we can go to grandma Erickson's can i call me daddy and tell him we are going to grandma Erickson's so only 3 more days till we get to go to grandma Erickson's oh i need to call my papa (meaning my dad, Blaine) and tell him we are going to grandma Erickson's for Easter (we will be leaving my moms and the kids start crying) i forgot to tell grandma Mary we are going to grandma Erickson's for Easter (kk telling tanner) tanner u never saw grandma Erickson's big new house (tanner cries) mommy kenzie says i never seed Gama Erickson's house (kk running behind him yelling) i told him he never did cuz only me and my daddy were there and tanner WAS NOT there (kk will ask) can i text my daddy and tell him we are going to grandma Erickson's for Easter (her text reads) maetdadmk......... (Daniel will text back and say) i love u too kk (kk cries and says) i didn't text my daddy i love him i wanted to tell him i am going to grandma Erickson's (kk and tanner playing in there room talking amongst themselves) (kk) hey tanner do u want to take this to grandma Erickson's house (tanner) ya i will take that cuz my gama Erickson wants to see it (we were making kk's bed kk says) maybe when I'm at grandma Erickson's she will make me another princess quilt (they brag to the daycare kids) u don't have a grandma Erickson (they fight back) ya huh she made me jammies ............................................................. ugh the list goes on and on!!!!!!! so GRANDMA ERICKSON I HOPE U ARE READY 4 US CUZ HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!

I Love Easter!

I love Easter it's such a fun holiday! We celebrated a bit early this year because my schedule was a lil all over the place and we are going to Ogden for the weekend! We had so much fun! We colored eggs yesterday morning. Then this morning we found a hill and rolled them all down so my fridge no longer smells like boiled eggs.. lol.... We had a blast and my kids just can't wait to get to Grandma Erickson's for more Easter fun its the topic of every hour! lol

update! update! update!

Ok! so much has gone on since i last posted so i will try and keep it short, sweet, and to the point! For starters we got in our own place again! YAY! For those who don't already know i had to move out of my last house cuz the heater broke:( so we had to move into my parents till we were able to find another place..... anyway it worked out in the end cuz we have a bigger place for cheaper! Ok! about my monsters.... MaKenzie~~ She is being her bratty grown up self! she seems to know everything... but I'm not complaining cuz she kinda does... she is my right hand.... she does ALOT for me... she helps out with kade an awful lot ITS GREAT! We recently pulled her out of preschool cuz we slowly found out we were actually paying for her to play for 2 hours instead of getting an education.. she was not sad at all surprisingly... she would tell us she was really bored of playing with toys and play dough at school. lol. she is too funny.. so now i save 85 bucks a month and i teach her at home.. Tanner~~ oh boy where do i start with my lil tanner man! He recently fell off a lil cliff and scrapped up his back and got a staple in his head and earlier that day he was riding a motorcycle with training wheels and ran right into a tree and did a front flip off of it.. luckily he didnt get a scratch from that... oh tanner is always so busy! it never fails we are always kissing his boo boos! as for his medical stuff.... he got his tonsils and adenoids out in February while daniel was in ogden.. he was so stubborn and miserable about the whole process... but he and I both got through it thankfully:) he just had a follow up with his specialist this week and everything went well.. the doc wants us to try and give him small portions of milk and see how he does cuz he doesn't think anything is wrong with him anymore! we don't know for sure but we will keep our fingers crossed!

Kaidence~~ he is now 5 months old! he is getting so big! he is rolling all over the place and just the other day he was doing frog leaps so it wont be long before he starts crawling! he is also teething...ugh... no teeth yet but he is doing lots of chewing and slobbering so I'm sure we will see some white soon!

i thinks that about sums it up! i know i dint do a very good job at keeping it short.. or sweet... or to the point.... lol.... oops sorry!! anyways we are all staying super busy and doing very well!

Just a heads up on kade's blessing! I am having kade's blessing at my grandparents house in certerfield..... It's going to be on the 14th at 11am... I know its Valentines Day and its far away so i am already expecting a lot of u wont be able to show but I wanted to let u know u are all invited..... If anyone wants more details let me know!

Kade's 3 Months Old~!~

He gets more and more cute everyday! He weighs 12lbs 12ozs and he is 23 inches long! He is constantly smiling and giggling! And I really think he just might "might" be a Red Head.....lets keep our fingers crossed:)

"WE" Love Surprises!!!!

So here we are having another uneventful day last Thursday until...................... around 7pm there was a knock on our door.... k might I remind u I live alone with my kids...... I DO NOT like answering the door after dark.... well Jesse and Shanae were here and they thought it was there mom and I knew it wasn't cuz she wasn't supposed to get off till 8pm.... so Jesse runs over to the door and looks out the window and tries opening the door.... GRRR I was a lil scared cuz now i have to answer "right" whoever is at the door obviously knows we are home now..... so i opened the door and WABAM it was g`ma Erickson........... What the freak........... what a surprise........ omg i was so excited to see her but I didn't want to let her in cuz my house was a FREAKEN MESS.......... how embarrassing..... but come on she drove 6 hours and stopped to see us.... so I invited her into our mess....... and put her to work.... ha ha I'm kidding.... my kids were SO EXCITED to see her..... Tanner saw her first and just bolted across the room and jumped into her arms... literally.... it was so cute... then kk saw her and did the same thing.... WOW what a WONDERFUL surprise:) K now i really wasn't kidding about putting her to work:) i had her feed kaidence and after that we pulled kk`s quilt out and she started sewing it back together... (I'm so glad g`ma ericksons quilts have a FREE LIFETIME warranty) ha ha..... so by the time she finished the quilt it was too late for her to drive to Vegas so she had to stay the night... oops.... i know that wasn't quite what she had planned but it was so much fun for us to have her here.... We love you g`ma erickson and u are welcome to drive 6 hours ANYTIME to SURPRISE us!!!!!!!!!!!

Quick update!!!

FOR STARTERS WE HAD A GREAT CHRISTMAS!!! WE STARTED OFF AT JACKIE'S.. THEN G`MA ERICKSON HAD A VERY EVENTFUL DAY PLANNED FOR US... SHE GATHERED HER WHOLE CLAN UP... WHICH WAS LIKE HER 8 KIDS PLUS SPOUSES PLUS IDK LIKE 18 GRAND KIDS (PLUS OR MINUS A FEW) FOR A DAY IN SALT LAKE.... WE ALL WENT TO THE MOVIES AFTER THAT WE ALL WENT TO TEMPLE SQUARE THEN ENDED THE NIGHT IN A MOTEL.. WE WENT SWIMMING AND ATE THE "BIGGEST" PIZZA I HAVE EVER SEEN... I'M NOT KIDDING IT WAS GINORMOUS.... AND VERY VERY GOOD..... ANYWAYS THE NEXT DAY WAS XMAS EVE AND WE ALL WENT TO SUMMERS HOUSE AND HAD DINNER AND OPENED EXCHANGED GIFTS.... WE SPENT XMAS WITH EMMY AND HER BOYS IT WAS SO FUN... WE SPENT A COUPLE MORE DAYS IN OGDEN THEN HEADED BACK HOME....... IT WAS A LONG WEEK BUT WE HAD A TON OF FUN... IT WAS SO NICE TO GET OUT... THANKS G`MA ERICKSON FOR THE EXPERIENCE!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Tanner had a very eventful weekend:( Last Sunday we were at my parents house and all the cousins were over and it was a super nice day so they were all playing outside... As they were all running around Tanner ran into a piece of steel:( The cut didn't seem too terribly bad but I was a lil concerned that he would need a tetanus shot cuz it was really dirty steel so i took him to the ER and it turns out he was good to go on the shot but he needed 3 stitches.. It was so sad at first they put numbing cream on his face with a gauze and we had to wait 20 minutes. Then they put him in a restraint to do the stitches. He did not like that at all but when he was finished he took a deep breath and asked if he could go to the park:) So we went to the park! Nothing ever seems to slow him down!

Thanksgiving....

First off we had a really good Thanksgiving! My kids had so much fun playing with all the cousins on my side of the family! And I enjoyed visiting with my aunts, uncles, and brother. Its sad we cant get together more often. I wanted to take a minute and mention a couple things i am thankful for.. I feel like I don't say "thank you" enough! I am GRATEFUL for.....

WOW! Another month just flew by for us! Kaidence turned a month old today:) It's crazy how time flies! We are all going on 5 days of being sick:( We are slowly recovering.. Kk has started writing the alphabet this past week and she loves it.. They are only on letter C and she already knows how to write all our names.. here is a sample--- she writes the letter M for her name and mine. She writes D for Daniel. And she writes T for Tanner... "I know amazing" lol! She thinks she is smarter than us all! she is silly! anyways I think I finally got Tanner under control with his allergies! Yay! He sleeps through the night so I am happy!
